Terms of
Service
Last updated: October 24, 2024. These terms govern your interaction with the UBI Digital Earth ecosystem and our commitment to financial sovereignty.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the UBI platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and UBI Digital Earth. If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease use of the platform immediately.
Our interface is designed to bridge agricultural productivity with digital liquidity. Any use of the platform for purposes outside of sustainable economic growth is strictly prohibited.
2. Account Responsibility
Verification
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Farmers may be required to provide physical site verification and crop yield projections to access specific tiered benefits.
Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your cryptographic keys and account credentials. UBI Digital Earth will never ask for your private seeds or passwords via insecure channels.
"Rooted in the earth, powered by the digital frontier."
3. Financial Transactions
Liquidity & Settlement
All transactions processed through the Universal Basic Interface are final once confirmed on the Digital Earth ledger. We utilize smart contracts to ensure transparency in yield-sharing and UBI distribution.
Fees & Levies
UBI maintains a 0.5% ecosystem maintenance fee on marketplace trades. These funds are re-allocated to the Agricultural Sovereignty Fund, supporting climate-resilient farming techniques.
4. Farmer-Specific Provisions
Yield Reporting
Farmers must report seasonal harvest data to maintain the integrity of our asset-backed currency system.
Ethical Stewardship
Users identified as "Farmers" commit to non-extractive land use practices and biodiversity preservation.
Collateralization
Future crop yields can be used as collateral for immediate liquidity, subject to climate-risk assessment scores.
5. Governance and Updates
UBI is a living protocol. These terms may be updated through community governance votes. Significant changes will be announced through the platform interface at least 14 days prior to implementation.
